A multi-wavelength DPSS platform for deterministic micro-texturing of metals, ceramics, glass and polymers — engineering functional surfaces for adhesion, tribology and wettability. Designed and manufactured in India.

  1. Three-wavelength DPSS — 1064 / 532 / 355 nm

    Wavelength matched to the material — metals, ceramics, glass and polymers each absorb differently.

  2. Line width — < 20 µm

    Fine deterministic features rather than statistical roughness.

  3. Texture depth — 50 µm

    Depth controlled through pulse parameters and pass count.

  4. Galvo scanning head — High speed

    Beam positioning for pattern writing across the working area.

  5. Programmable focus — Z control

    Focus maintained across the working field and across part height variation.

  6. Pattern generation — CAD or parametric

    Textures defined from imported geometry or generated from parameters.

  7. Fume extraction — Integrated

    Extraction and filtration sized for the process.

  8. SPPL software — Windows

    Job setup, pattern library, process parameters, logging and export.

  9. Support & warranty — 1 year, in-country

    One year warranty from acceptance, minimum five years spares, training included.

Principle of operation

Why surface geometry changes component behaviour

A textured surface behaves differently from a smooth one. Micro-dimples retain lubricant and reduce friction in a bearing. Controlled roughness changes how a coating adheres, how a fluid wets, how a cell attaches to an implant, how light scatters from an optic. Laser texturing writes that geometry directly — no mask, no chemistry, no tooling — so the pattern can be changed between one component and the next, and the same machine can develop the texture and then produce it.

SPPL software, written and supported by us

Our Windows application handles live view, regions of interest, minimum, maximum and average values, trend plots and alarms, with export to Excel and MP4 and retention of raw data for re-analysis later. An SDK is available where the system is being embedded into your own application.

Because the software is ours, a change you need is a change we can make — you are not waiting on an overseas vendor's release cycle.
