Every subsystem, purposefully designed

  1. Six-wavelength VIS-NIR source — 639–980 nm

    Six wavelength options across the near-infrared window used in photo-thermal and bio-medical work.

  2. Programmable power — 1–10 W

    Power set and held under software control, so delivered dose is a known quantity.

  3. Galvo scanning — 120 × 120 mm field

    Automatic scanning across the sample area under programmed patterns.

  4. Synchronised thermal mapping — Non-contact

    Temperature field recorded across the exposed area during exposure, not after it.

  5. Common timebase — Exposure + thermal

    Exposure parameters and thermal data logged together so cause and effect stay aligned.

  6. Safety enclosure — Interlocked

    Enclosure and interlocks appropriate to the laser class in use.

  7. SPPL software — Windows

    Experiment setup, live view, ROI analysis, trends, and export to Excel and video.

  8. Data export — Excel / MP4 / RAW

    Raw data retained for re-analysis, so a result can be revisited months later.

  9. Support & warranty — 1 year, in-country

    One year warranty from acceptance, minimum five years spares, training included.

Principle of operation

Exposure and thermal response, measured together

The value of a photo-thermal experiment lies in knowing exactly what dose was delivered and exactly what temperature resulted, at every point. The system scans a laser across the sample under programmed control while a thermal imager records the temperature field, so exposure parameters and thermal response are captured on the same timebase. That makes the experiment repeatable, and repeatability is what turns an observation into a result.

SPPL software, written and supported by us

Our Windows application handles live view, regions of interest, minimum, maximum and average values, trend plots and alarms, with export to Excel and MP4 and retention of raw data for re-analysis later. An SDK is available where the system is being embedded into your own application.

Because the software is ours, a change you need is a change we can make — you are not waiting on an overseas vendor's release cycle.
